March Challenges

March was an incredible month for Piktor challenges. We saw over 200 entries across three challenges, and the quality blew us away.

Challenge 1: "Fantasy Tavern Interior"

The winning entry featured a cozy tavern with warm lighting, a roaring fireplace, and tiny patrons enjoying their meals. What made it stand out was the attention to atmospheric detail — dust particles floating in the light beams and steam rising from mugs.

Challenge 2: "Robot Companion"

This challenge asked artists to design a friendly robot sidekick. The entries ranged from tiny hovering drones to hulking mechanical guardians. The winner created a round, expressive robot with just 32x32 pixels and 12 colors — proof that constraints breed creativity.

Challenge 3: "Underwater World"

Artists dove deep with this one. Beautiful coral reefs, eerie deep-sea trenches, and playful marine life. The winner used clever dithering techniques to create the illusion of light filtering through water.
